Henry the sheep rancher is preparing for the final round of the rodeo championship. He has already won the title several times and this round will determine whether he will retain it or not.

Big game hunters Rick and Casey are on a mountain lion hunt. The weather conditions are ideal: it has snowed and the fresh snow will allow them to easily spot an animal's tracks.

Sara is alone at the ranch with her son. There is one chore she never normally does: drive the huge truck that Henry uses to feed the sheep, but Henry is away today and the sheep have to be fed.

James, Ron and Kayl try to save a young calf. His mother seems disinterested in him and he's gotten too cold outside during the night. Without his mother's milk, the calf will die in just a few hours.
