Holly worries about entering in the Collinsville Pageant once she discovers that she has some competition. Robert makes a car for Heather to drive in the Collinsville derby, but she’s embarrassed for people to see it.

Holly and Robby build a chicken coop for Farmer Dodge after Robby was responsible for destroying his prize-winning cucumber. Heather goes shopping with her mother and their styles clash.

Holly, Piper, and Amy discover that the creek is being polluted by the local pickle factory and decide to take matters into their own hands. Robby is taught a lesson about his self worth when he tears his ACL and can’t play football.

Holly and Piper schedule birthday parties on the same day, causing contention in their friendship. Heather and Levi need to find their own way to a wrestling match, but they make a bigger problem in the process.

Holly takes a bus to Chicago with Tyler to escape the mess she made because of her birthday party. Heather and Robby hide the wreckage of a broken urn.

The Collinsville mural needs volunteers, but Holly’s jealousy of Piper’s friendship with Amy gets in the way. Robby and Lyla consider the future of their relationship and make plans.
