Catarina tells Brumela to rehire Ulisses. Brumela tells Ulisses that she is willing to accept him back in the kitchen if he agrees to respect her authority. Afonso and Levi come across a hunter.

Amália tries to convince the hunter that Afonso and Levi are not a danger. Brumela is irritated by Rodolfo's compliment to Ulisses and decides to resign. Catarina is worried when she realizes that Diana saw her kissing Virgílio. Selena goes after Afonso, after Agnes claims to know where he is. Olegário agrees with Lupércio and decides to end his relationship with Matilda. King Octavian offers Rodolfo information about Afonso's whereabouts in exchange for a better trade agreement between the kingdoms of Montemor and Lastrilha.
