WO and SHAN have agreed not to say a word about the kiss. Once back at home, SHAN starts brushing her teeth. FEI mentions the lady-killer again but SHAN insists that she is the master of her own fate. WO is a little downcast. YIN points out that he has been trying to avoid facing the problem and suggests he find a girl and let the power of love help him get through his psychological barrier. WO feels extremely depressed when he knows that MAY has left for Thailand. WAI’s heart beats so fast when he meets a girl – he seems to have a crush on her. WO teases him about it and encourages him to woo the girl. A young lady FONG NGA YIN comes to WO’s clinic, also known as the Wisdom Integrated Therapies Centre, for an interview for the post of Secretary. She reveals to WO that her friend OLIVER has been suffering from Phobia and in turn asks for his help. SHAN is totally at a loss after getting a call from YIU requesting an investment proposal……

MAY introduces WO to her boyfriend, who, to everyone’s surprise, is WAI. WAI thanks WO for his encouragement while MAY is so grateful to SHAN for the accurate prediction, leaving WO and SHAN, who are looking at each other with mixed emotions, in a state of shock and disbelief. WO keeps doing housework without a break. Having noticed this, WO’s family can tell immediately that he has become disappointed in love again. They show sympathy for him and give him a few words of consolation. A client named CANDY approaches WO for help. She reveals that her husband has had an affair with her sister MAGGIE. WO finds NGA YIN quarrelling with a man. Immediately he gets to them and manages to save NGA YIN from trouble. NGA YIN discloses that she has been in love with a married man called WEI and WO advises her to withdraw from the relationship as soon as possible……

WO teaches SHAN to play tennis, during which he gets hit by the racket. He grumbles about the little accident and rants about his bad luck. WO gets calls from MAY and WAI respectively. MAY says that she does not want to get married too young while WAI tells him that MAY has disappeared without a trace. WO lets MAY and WAI have a heart-to-heart talk by using a special mirror. SHAN goes to play snooker with YIU but ends up making a fool of herself. SHAN thinks it is all WO’s fault and puts the blame entirely on him. WO asks her if she knows what kind of woman would appeal to YIU and how much chance she has of winning his heart. When asked these questions, SHAN is rendered speechless. MING is set free from prison, so SHAN and FEI go to pick him up. Knowing that MING is deeply in debt, YIU offers to lend him HK$200,000 and SHAN is therefore very grateful to him. SHAN discovers that MING has a phobia of fire……

WO brings SHAN to a family-run restaurant, where they meet WAH who has got drunk in the attic. Soon they come to know that the woman in front of them is NGA YIN’s mother WAH, and with her eagle eye, SHAN has found a wound on WAH’s hand. YIU is so busy with his hi-fi set-up that he has totally forgot his 20-year pledge, which irks WO greatly. WO thinks it is just not fair to SHAN but YIU reveals that he has no feelings towards her. NGA YIN asks WO and SHAN out to celebrate her birthday. During the birthday dinner, WAH sees the spaghetti turn into worms, which, later on even crawl up onto her hand. This sends a chill through her heart and knocks her out in a few seconds. WAH is then sent to hospital. There YIU meets NGA YIN and falls in love with her straight away. NGA YIN gets a peculiar expression on her face when she sees the nurse YING FUNG……

YIU invites WO, NGA YIN and SHAN to a charity ball and NGA YIN immediately offers to be WO’s partner. NGA YIN and WAH are forced to move out of the flat but luckily, MING agrees to put them up at his place. WO knows YIU is in love with NGA YIN and he very much sympathizes with SHAN. YIU tries to learn more about NGA YIN from FUNG, which makes her realize that YIU is fond of NGA YIN. For a split second, a cold dark expression scuds across her face. SHAN performs exceptionally well while dancing with the eminent dancer SZE LO WA, which has impressed WO deeply. Though she has won high praise from WO, SHAN is not happy, as she knows in YIU’s eyes, she will never be a patch on NGA YIN. WO tries to console SHAN by convincing her that love is only a part of their lives and that she looks amazingly confident when she is dancing. This makes her decide not to give up dancing……

NGA YIN gives WO a bar of heart-shaped chocolate so as to express her love for him. This, however, has scared WO a bit. KELLY’s husband KUEN has disappeared. She recognizes KUEN’s scent and suspects that the salesgirl CHUNG WAI CHING is the missing KUEN. She then decides to ask WO for help. NGA YIN gives WO a massage for the purpose of stress release. She starts to cuddle him but within just a few seconds, she realizes she has no feelings towards this guy. She apologizes to WO and WO can finally breathe a sigh of relief. KELLY points out that KUEN is very much afraid of the crisp sound of people biting an apple. WO, who decides to test CHING out, happens to discover that she has bought herself some estrogen. CHING offers to tell WO the truth and WO suggests she should let KELLY know what is going on. YIU not only declares his love for NGA YIN but also gives her a watch, which surprises her a great deal……

SHAN is so distracted while crossing the road. In order to forget the pain for a while, once again she goes dancing but ends up breaking her ankle. WO points out that YIU and NGA YIN don’t belong to each other and wouldn’t make a go of their relationship. He reminds SHAN that she still has a chance. Knowing that WAH is prejudiced against homosexuals, NGA YIN dare not tell her the truth. UNCLE BOR claims to have seen a ghost at his home and he suspects that it is all because he has accidentally kicked over an urn. Now he can’t even move his legs, but luckily his daughter WING has been thoughtful enough to look after him. After a painstaking observation, MING is sure that there is no ghost at BOR’s home. Having seen YIU and NGA YIN together in a restaurant, SHAN gets so upset and starts to overeat, which worries WO a great deal. SHAN arrives home and is shocked to see MING and WAH singing along, hand in hand……

WO’s elder brother KA HING has earned a great deal of money from investing in the stock market. He offers to treat his family to dinner, during which he gets a call from his boss WONG YIU FU. Immediately HING and WO rush to a hotel to see what is going on. There WO sees FU lying unconscious, whose head is full of blood. This has really left a big question mark in his mind. SHAN hears NGA YIN whispering on the phone but later on finds out that she hasn’t made a date with YIU. This makes SHAN suspect that NGA YIN is going out with two boyfriends at the same time. WO discovers that FU has not treated HING well and HING admits that he has been at FU’s beck and call. WO gives FU a treatment and discovers that FU’s self-esteem is worn away, which causes his sexual impotence and makes him feel that his arms and legs are growing numb. He explains that FU is suffering from Hysterical Numbing and that the root cause is his former wife……

NGA YIN goes on a date with FUNG. As they are walking round the street, NGA YIN seems to have heard someone calling YIU’s name. Immediately she lets go of FUNG’s hand, which irks FUNG beyond measure. FUNG points out that NGA YIN has been using YIU to cover up their relationship, which is not fair. Taking this into account, NGA YIN decides to introduce FUNG to WAH. While on duty, WAI has arrested a woman called FONG, who has got a host of sharp weapons with her. WAI suspects she is mentally ill and decides to refer her to WO. FONG tells WO that she has no clue as to why she carries knives with her all the time. She also reveals that she keeps having the same dream almost every night, in which a woman has stabbed her father PING to death. Knowing that NGA YIN has already got a lover, YIU gets so down and upset. To cheer him up, SHAN decides to help him win back his dream girl. YIN hypnotizes FONG and gets her in the dream again……

WAH refuses to forgive NGA YIN and gives her a slap. NGA YIN happens to discover that SHAN has been in love with YIU. She gets so angry and blames her for tipping YIU off. Feeling disappointed and disillusioned, YIU goes for a pint. At the pub, he rebukes WO for not having told him the truth. WO and SHAN escort YIU, who has got totally drunk, back to his home. SHAN stays up all night to look after YIU, which makes WO a little jealous. WAH suffers from alcoholism and is sent to hospital. She refuses to see NGA YIN, which upsets her immensely. FONG cannot accept the fact that all these days PING has disguised himself as a woman and works as a prostitute. She suspects he has a fondness for transvestism and WO suggests she should try to find out the truth. Having heard PING’s farewell speech made at the nightclub, FONG goes and apologizes to him……

YIU brings SHAN to the class reunion, where SHAN has made a fool of herself. SHAN is determined to study psychology but WO advises her not to put too much pressure on herself. MING hints that WAH may need to plan her future but WAH responds that she will move somewhere else and get herself a job, which irks MING a bit. SHAN meets her old schoolmate LEE YUEN TZE again and wonders why she has become even uglier after having plastic surgery. TZE tries to take her life, which shocks SHAN to the core. WO gives TZE a treatment, during which she reveals that she had plastic surgery because she wanted to please her boyfriend CHENG WING CHUNG and that she is very happy with her new face. MING has found WAH a new home, which is located right opposite to his apartment. TZE commits suicide again. WO and SHAN are shocked to see that the middle-aged woman in the photo kept in CHUNG’s wallet looks exactly the same as TZE……

TZE admits that she has her face altered to make her features look like that middle-aged woman, who has been considered CHUNG’s number one angel. YIU has a pre-birthday party, during which he deliberately tries to make FUNG and NGA YIN jealous by showing his care for SHAN. SHAN, wearing the earrings that YIU gave her, claims that she has been on very good terms with YIU and that their relationship is growing strong, which upsets both WO and NGA YIN slightly. TZE follows CHUNG to his home and is astonished to see that she herself looks exactly the same as CHUNG’s late mother. She is so frightened that she falls unconscious right away. YIU points out that CHUNG is suffering from Schizophrenia while TZE is plunged into panic and is subconsciously reluctant to get up. On YIU’s birthday, SHAN, with a cake in her hands, waits for YIU outside his home despite the heavy downpour……

SHAN and WO get to Mui Wo by sampan. SHAN has dirtied her clothes so the two of them head for a hotel to clean themselves up. WO offers to iron her clothes and SHAN feels so grateful for his thoughtfulness. HING, as instructed, is to reform the company which LEUNG is working for. Also, he plans to offer LEUNG early retirement. MAY has got pregnant for five months, and WAI, who very much looks forward to the birth of their baby, is particularly concerned about MAY’s health. WAI has promised his friend that he will look after his son SING, who is incredibly naughty. WO gives SING a treatment and discovers that the boy, who was brought up in an unhappy family, often feels left out. Later on SING is diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome, the symptoms of which include involuntary tics and gurgling screams. HING has dismissed LEUNG from his job and LEUNG is deeply irked by this……

YIU feels so upset when he sees SHAN looking after WO at the hospital with devoted care. NGA YIN explains to SHAN that WO must have fallen in love with her but SHAN has doubts about her analysis. Having been encouraged by FUNG, YIU decides to have a fair competition with WO to see who can finally win SHAN’s heart. WO’s sister LOK has received three paintings of herself, each one more terrible than the last. WAI suggests checking the postmark to find a clue. LOK meets KWONG in the rain, who is distributing handbills for his coffee shop. LOK is shocked to learn that KWONG is blind. She discovers that the paintings put up for sale in his coffee shop are very similar in style to those she got. WO finds that WAI is too keyed up about MAY’s pregnancy, which makes him suffer from Pseudocyesis. The sequins on SHAN’s dress have come off when being washed……

SHAN is shocked by WO’s declaration of love and is left totally at a loss. WO reveals to YIU that he is in love with SHAN and the two of them have agreed to have a fair competition. YIU returns home and is surprised to see his mother ROSE, who has just got back from the States. ROSE persuades YIU to woo his cousin MONICA, who has recently inherited a large sum of money. YIU asks SHAN to be his girlfriend for a while. ROSE is very fond of SHAN and urges YIU to get married as soon as possible. A man called LONG hurt his penis in an accident and has become impotent ever since then. WO gives him a treatment hoping to help him overcome his psychological barrier. FU has regained his sexual prowess since he met his true love. WO is inspired by both FU and LONG – he is now resolved to win SHAN’s heart with his deepest sincerity and to cure his problem with the power of true love……

WO gives SHAN a pot of Chinese orchids which are grown by himself, in order to reassure her that their love will grow like a plant from a seed. YIU, on the other hand, has ordered a bouquet of purple tulips from France so as to show his sincerity. Both gifts have thrilled SHAN utterly. YIU brings SHAN to Macau by cruise ship, where they have tried the classic soufflé – it is such a romantic moment for SHAN. In the meantime, WO is queuing up at a famous bakery to buy a soufflé for SHAN. SHAN is pleasantly surprised to see WO’s soufflé when she comes back. PANE, who is a teacher, suspects that his wife CINDY is suffering from Amnesia. He therefore turns to WO for help. WO follows CINDY and finds that she is going to meet her secret lover DON. But what is strange is that when she gets back home, she seems to have forgot her secret date……

YIU decorates the cruise ship with all his heart while WO takes care of the orchids as best as he can. Both guys plan to declare their love to SHAN on Christmas Eve. After knowing that her late mother’s black crystal is a lucky stone that will bring a happy marriage to the bearer, SHAN begs MING to let her take it out for a day, so that she can make a choice between YIU and WO and find her Mr. Right. SHAN has lost the lucky stone so WO tries his best to find it out for her. YIU lets off fireworks for SHAN in the hope of impressing her. He gives her an exclusively designed necklace containing a fireworks-like pendant, and kisses her gently. Meanwhile, WO comes along and sees everything. Supposing that SHAN has chosen YIU, WO passes the lucky stone on to FEI and asks him to return it to SHAN. Filled with disappointment, WO finally slips away……

After kissing SHAN gently, WO has got a stomachache and needs to leave at once. SHAN feels very let down by his reaction. WO and YIU go to JOAN’s home, where they learn that her husband killed himself because of what she said and since then she has been filled with guilt and remorse. Her desperate attempt to suppress her true character has finally led to the creation of an imagined personality ANGEL. YIN hypnotizes JOAN to let her have a conversation with ANGEL. JOAN and ANGEL have finally reached an agreement. Realizing that WO keeps changing his attitude towards her, SHAN is so confused. She goes to ask YIU for a hint but YIU refuses to say a word. JOAN calls WO up for help. Having got the call, WO rushes to see JOAN without delay, leaving SHAN all alone. SHAN follows WO and happens to meet HING along the way. SHAN and HING arrive at JOAN’s home, where they find JOAN half naked with WO……
