The girl who saved Hana says she has come to prepare for an upcoming battle. Later, Hana is surprised to meet an unexpected new classmate.

After receiving some advice from Hana, Yohane declares that they are now friends. Soon after, Hana’s class receives yet another transfer student.

Unable to call upon Amidamaru for help, Hana succumbs to Ryuji’s attack. Luca orders Ryuji to kill Hana, but Yohane senses she is being manipulated.

Hana grows depressed after Alumi reveals how his death-defying power works. Later, Alumi goes to a flower shop run by the Muntzer siblings.

Believing he's being challenged to a fight, Hana begins to battle the rebellious shaman. But as the duel goes on, he starts to lose his sanity.

Alumi suddenly appears and puts a stop to Hana's aggression toward Gakko. She then explains the purpose of the Flower of Maize to Hana and Yohane.

Gakko and Yohane try to protect Hana from Tao Men's sudden attack but are swiftly defeated. An enraged Hana responds by unleashing a demonic power.

Suddenly finding himself beside a crashed fighter plane on a beach, Hana encounters the aircraft's pilot, who says they are in the middle of a war.

Thalim suddenly appears and brings Sakurai and Hana to his café to talk. At Funbari Hot Springs, Tao Men demands to see his mother's iron maiden.

After Anderson's plane crashes into the café, Yohsuke uses special cards in a bid to stop Hao's plan to turn Sakurai into Hana's guardian spirit.

Finding himself at a Japanese military airfield, Hana realizes it is the day before Sakurai's fateful flight. That night, the base comes under attack.
