Where does the impulse that leads us to create come from and how does it transform us? At what point does the artist begin to be built by the object he creates? Six artisans from Buenos Aires today take us to know the depths of their trades, seeking to vindicate the importance of the circularity of their production, mutual aid, the transmission of knowledge and the value of the manual tradition that they carry on.

The hands that create in Rupe are from Matías Moreu, a handpoke tattoo artist, a technique that rescues the original tradition of this art applied to the body. In this chapter, Mati tells us about the paths that led him to create Rupe, his most beloved work, and how he carries out the workshop with which he transmits this knowledge.

The hands that create in Jardín Estampas belong to Eugenia Zoia, a clothing designer who, inspired by the work of native cultures and the idea of creating in communion with nature, decided to make sustainable garments throughout its production process. In this chapter Euge tells us about natural dyes, recycled raw materials and a completely handmade clothing production.
