

Crooked House is a British supernatural drama miniseries broadcast on BBC Four from 22-24 December 2008. Created and written by Mark Gatiss, and produced by Tiger Aspect Productions, the serial stars Lee Ingleby and Gatiss. A ghost story about a cursed house. The cursed house — Geap Manor — weaves together three ghost stories set during Georgian times, the 1920s, and present day.
1786: Joseph Bloxham is a self-made man and something of a star in fashionable coffee-house society. Some, though, like the sceptical Noakes, take a dim view of his shady business ethics. Bloxham has used his ill-gotten gains to obtain the old Geap Manor, paying no heed to the warnings of Noakes and his friend Duncalfe. But when Bloxham begins hearing ghastly sounds in the newly-installed panelling of his drawing room, it seems he might have more than just a mouse hiding in his wainscoting.
Aired: 12/22/20081927: Lady Constance de Momery presides over a costume ball for her grandson Felix. However, all is not as it seems and when the young heir to the estate announces his engagement to sweetheart Ruth, his friends Billy and Katherine are far from pleased.
