

Career-minded magistrate KO HEI MAN (Hsuan Jessica Hester) gains full support from her loyal husband KOT KWOK KWONG (Chan Kam Hung, Sunny) so that she is able to concentrate fully on her works. At court, MAN strongly believes that everyone is equal before the law and she tackles every challenge confidently. At home, she never bothers about the household duties which are all taken by husband and any complaints filed by mother-in-law. Magistrate KO HEI MAN and her husband, a computer formula designer, KOT KWOK KWONG bring their son YIN CHO for an interview at a kindergarten early one morning. The Principal thinks KWONG is a great father who spends so much time with his son. MAN finds no interest of which she has been selected by a magazine as “The Most Prestigious Magistrate of the Year”. When the family gets back to the village, they meet Uncle 13 KOT TAK WAN involves in an argument with the workers. He misunderstands that the workers are there to dismantle the ancestral temple rather than the pond. MAN makes them release the workers by saying that it is an imprisonment crime to keep the workers illegally. MAN acts as the character witness in court for YING and lists out evidences to proof her innocent. Finally YING is acquitted. Cleaning worker PING is sued for stealing the ashes of her deceased boyfriend by his wife LAU FONG. MAN sentences PING innocence but has to return the ashes to FONG. KWONG plays some tricks to get a bit of the ashes for PING and she really appreciates. MAN will be promoted as a Superintendent of Magistrate while KWONG’s sister PO YEE is recruited as a Superintendent of Prosecutor. KWONG meets his best friends SO AH KEI and LEUNG YAN YAN on the street and both make fun of him. AK and YAN are getting married and want to invite CHO as the flower boy. KWONG wants to take some wedding pictures with MAN and she happily agrees. During a court case, HO SHI FU is charged for loitering. MAN refutes all his sophistries and fines him with a Community Service Order.… ...
