

The fortunes of a former chat show host who is reduced to a lowly slot on Radio Norwich. Alan Partridge is divorced, living in a travel tavern, and desperate for a return to television.

After the end of his chat show and the divorce from his wife Carol, Alan is now living in Linton Travel Tavern and presenting the early morning slot on Radio Norwich. After viewing a 5 bedroom house with his P.A., Lynne, Alan has a meeting with the BBC Chief Commissioner, Tony Hayers, who he needs to impress if he is to be given a second series.

It's Valentine's day and love is in the air. Alan is distributing chocolate oranges to every female under 50 while dealing with the fact that he cannot afford to keep his Rover 800 without sacking all the staff at Peartree Productions.
